Mortgage servicer isn’t held by consumer law, justices rule

OPLC Senior Staff Attorney Linda Cook disagreed with the ruling, handed down May 14, saying mortgage servicers “are the middlemen, and most of the time that’s the only entity that homeowners deal with once the loan is closed.”  Read the full Columbus Dispatch article here.
