Joint reply comments have been filed by OPLC, OCC, ABLE/Edgemont Neighborhood Coalition, Legal Aid Society of Southwest Ohio, Southeastern Ohio Legal Services. These comments oppose the efforts of the telephone companies, the Ohio Telecom Association, and other business interests to greatly weaken the consumer protection rules proposed by the PUCO staff for the implementation of the transition from basic local landline service to more advanced technologies.
